Thank you for being with us!

The Black Sea occupies the entire eastern border of the country. There are two big cities on the Black Sea - Varna and Burgas. Along the coastal strip there are both smaller settlements and internationally famous resorts such as Nessebar, Sunny Beach, Golden Sands, etc. Here are some interesting facts about the Black Sea:

- Its name comes from the ancient Greeks, meaning "inhospitable".

- The greatest depth in the sea is 2,210 meters.

- At its bottom there are significant deposits of oil and gas.

- At a depth of more than 200 meters no marine life is found.

- There are three types of dolphins in the sea - common, mutkur and afala, which are endangered and protected from capture.

Be with us to enjoy the Black Sea!

Cape Emine

# 1 Cape Emine

Cape Emine is the easternmost end of Stara Planina. Its territory is protected and divides our Black Sea coast into southern and northern. It is a sheer cliff about 60 meters high and a lighthouse located on it. In the area there are remains of a medieval monastery and a fortress called "Emona". The village of Emona is located next to it.  Cape Emine is the final stage of the international hiking route E-3 peak Kom - Cape Emine, which is walked by hundreds of mountaineers every year. For us, this is one of the most romantic places in Bulgaria along our Black Sea coast.

Important: You can also reach the cape by car (the road goes to the side of the junction for Irakli beach), but keep in mind that the road is not asphalted and in some places it is difficult to pass.
